Student Success texts
Classed Inc. · Effective September 16, 2026
Texts are off by default. If your school uses Classed for student success, this page is where you opt in to Student Success texts. The form below is the only way to opt in. It is optional, it is separate from your Classed account, and skipping it changes nothing about your access to Classed or to your school’s services. Message frequency varies (typically a few messages a month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Your mobile number and your opt-in choices are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How to opt in
Enter the mobile number that will receive texts, check the one consent box beneath it (it is unchecked until you check it), and tap Turn on text messages. Submitting records the number, the consent wording you saw, and the time; only that number can be texted, and only for this program. If you leave the box unchecked, nothing is recorded and no texts are sent. Nothing else opts you in: not creating a Classed account, not accepting the Terms of Service, not enrolling at your school, and not replying to a message.
1.What you will receive
Texts under the Classed name from two sources: automated messages sent by the Classed platform (appointment reminders and changes, office-hours changes, class and program announcements, and pointers to campus resources and events) and personal one-to-one messages written by your assigned success coach or other school staff (check-ins and follow-ups), which name the person writing. You can reply, and your reply goes to your assigned coach. Nothing is sold or promoted.
Example:“Classed: Reminder that your appointment with [Staff name] is [Day] at [Time] in [Location]. Reply to this text if you need to reschedule.”
2.Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation text and nothing further from this number. If you later want the texts back, reply START to the confirmation. Reply HELP or INFO for help, or email support@classedcampus.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3.Chap is a separate program
Well-being check-ins from Chap, the Student Success team’s automated assistant, use a different phone number and have their own opt-in page at classedcampus.com/sms/chap. Opting in here does not opt you in to Chap, and opting in to Chap does not opt you in here.
4.Privacy and terms
See our Privacy Policy (section 9, Text messages) and Terms of Service (section 10, Text messages) for how your information is handled.
